ProTransport-1’s Oakland station will soon have a new home. As of Thursday, March 1, the ProTransport-1 team in Oakland will operate out of 601 Brush Street, which is just a half mile from the current location and features a private, fenced-in parking lot for crew members. The new building has been freshly painted and is being prepped for the arrival of PT-1 crews.
The new Oakland location is off the 12th Street exit from I-980 and offers many more benefits to those working shifts out of Station 54. It is a safe, clean property that is more efficient for Alameda County operations; the company is upgrading the internet for the new location, so the connection will be faster; there is significantly improved cell phone reception; and the lounge area is much larger than the current location.
PT-1 is looking forward to calling a new spot in Oakland home!
