Good Morning Team,
It’s been almost 60 days since I joined ProTransport-1 and I’m truly excited to be a part of such a great company. Everyone has been very welcoming and helpful in showing me the ropes. I’ve enjoyed learning about the different departments and how they support each other and operations. I am inspired by the care, loyalty, and pride that you all have put into ProTransport-1. You have built the foundation of a truly special and unique organization. I hope to continue to build on the success you have created and the commitment you have made to our patients, customers and to each other.
I’m extremely proud to share as just one example of your great work, a Certificate of Recognition presented to us by Kaiser. It reads: “In appreciation for the services provided during the evacuations in the Northern California Wine Country fires, Kaiser Permanente would like to recognize and acknowledge the ProTransport-1 organization for the dedicated service and tireless efforts to ensure that all patients were evacuated quickly and safely.” This award exemplifies this team’s dedication to our company values of C.A.R.E. and S.A.F.E.
You also may have heard we are moving the Oakland Station to a new location – a safer, cleaner and newer facility. I had the opportunity to join some of the crew in packing and moving the supply room in advance of the move, and know this new facility will be a welcome change.
With every organization, communication among and within departments and the workforce is critical, and is an area that needs constant focus and attention. I have scheduled semi-monthly meetings with the station managers to keep up to date with what’s going on at your stations, but I also want to make sure I hear from you directly. Below you’ll find the dates for the upcoming town hall meetings; I hope you’ll make it a point to attend and let me know what is on your mind. While I am new, I want to assure you my goal is not only to support those at HQ, but to be supportive to the field as well. If you’re unable to make it to one of the meetings, I hope you won’t hesitate to reach out to me if you feel there is an issue I need to address or you have an idea that you’d like to propose to help make the company even more successful.
