Ambulatory Services Vehicle:

Our well-appointed and discreet town car is a more relaxing and dependable mode of transportation than a taxi.  Patients from our contracted facilities can enjoy this reliable and pleasant way to get from their homes to life saving treatments. 

 

Wheelchair Van:

ProTransport-1’s wheelchair van is appropriate for patients who are medically stable, able to self-transfer, sit upright and self-administer oxygen.  While there is no attendant present, our friendly drivers are ready to assist patients in and out of our modern and immaculate vehicles.  ProTransport-1 wheelchair vans do not run calls to locations where the patient or driver must negotiate stairs or assistance transferring; in that instance a gurney van is appropriate.

 

Gurney Van:

Our gurney van transport services are recommended for those patients who are medically stable and capable to self-administer oxygen, but must be transported lying down or supine position.  A CPR and First Aid trained attendant is present to make the transportation as safe and comfortable as possible.

 

Basic Life Support:

During ProTransport-1’s BLS transport, two California certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) monitor patients requiring medical supervision.  Our EMTs are equipped to offer basic life support skills should the need arise, in our state of the art ambulances.

 

Advanced Life Support:

ProTransport-1’s ALS paramedics respond to emergency calls, offer patients medical supervision and advanced intervention if needed during urgent or routine transports.  Our experienced paramedics, along with our technologically advanced equipment and vehicles, ensure our patients experience a safe and secure medical transport.

 

Critical Care Transport:

Patients requiring the highest level of medical intervention during transport are escorted by a state-licensed critical care nurse and a California certified EMT. Critical care ambulances are fully stocked and equipped to meet these patients’ special needs. 

 

PT-1 Alert:

In addition to our expert staff and modern vehicles, ProTransport-1 offers PT-1 Alert, a personal round-the-clock monitored medical alert device. This device is available in a pendant or a wristband and can offer peace of mind for persons in need as well as their families.
